If you followed the instructions correctly, your new images will appear as one of the choices. Then start the game and follow the UI to get to the character customization screen. Follow the instructions found in the README for image size and filename. You basically need to save a small icon and a larger Picture in BMP format in a new folder called "Characters" that you create in your game folder. But the info on how to do it is in the README text file in the game folder containing IWD2. I don't have IWD2 installed atm, so I can't tell you exactly. Other than that, once it is installed there are no gimmicks and it is a very good program that can do 90% of what Photoshop can do. Just be aware that during the install wizard, you will probably want to do a custom install so you don't get all the bundled adware.
